Banners
When ordering a banner, there are a few things to consider. A lot of customers call us and tell us how big they want their banner, and then tell us what they want on the banner. The fact is, when purchasing a banner, you should consider a) how much text will be on the banner b) how far away it needs to be read c) are you going to use it indoors or outdoors d) how are you going to hang the banner e) how long do you want it to last f) will it be re-used.
For example, if you order a banner that will be read 400 feet away (like an outfield fence on a baseball field), the lettering needs to be 8" to 10" tall. So, on a 4' x 8' banner (for example), you can get about 4 lines of text on the banner, and about 10 - 15 characters on each line. Basically, you can't print a book on the banner, and you can't put any 'fine print' on the banner because it would be too far away to read.
Or, if you want to hang a banner on the front of a banquet table, the banner needs to be no bigger than 28 inches tall. This is because most banquet tables are 29 inches tall, and you don't want it dragging the ground and getting stepped on.
Our company has made thousands of banners and we will tell you up front if your banner is too small for your message, or too large for your table, or the wrong colors to attract your customer.
We custom make our banners in any size. That is, we don't have 'standard' sizes because the rest of the world doesn't seem to come in 'standard' sizes, and we know you want your banner to fit your specific needs.

1) 14 ounce outdoor banner - edges are hemmed and double-stitched on all four edges with grommets installed free of charge. Ropes are available upon request. We can also have a clear pocket sewn into the banner so you can add a changeable sign (like the date for the school carnival) without buying a new banner every year. These banners are heavy duty and can be re-used for many years. This material is available in many colors.
2) 10 ounce indoor banner - seams are not hemmed. Grommets are installed free of charge. This material is available only in white. This material is weather resistant and can be used outdoors for short term, or indoors for a longer term.
3) Poly banners - these banners are for short term use only - such as a birthday party. This material is weather resistant and comes in 3 sizes: 3 x 5, 2 x 7, and 3 x 10. Them material is white only and comes with nylon ropes sewn into the hem. All edges are hemmed and double-stitched.
